The Beyond ‘Business as usual’ Coach

Guiding Professionals ...
In pursuit of the bigger picture.
I used to think I was just weird!
Leaving a top university, all I knew is that a conventional career path was not for me. While friends built careers in consulting, law, accountancy and management I struggled to find my place.
I felt a sense of shame about drifting and not fitting in. But I knew deep in my bones that business-as-usual was not for me.
It was clear to me even then that for all its advances the modern industrial business world was creating huge environmental and human harm.
Before sustainability, responsibility or fair trade became a thing, I knew we could do better. And I sensed deep down that others felt that too.
But it wasn’t being talked about.
I had conversations with leaders about values, impact and justice. Helping them align what they did each day with the world they actually wanted to see.
I learned how to listen deeply to what is so often unspoken in organisations. And how to create space for the dreams and visions that go way beyond performance reviews or our annual bonus.
Fast forward to today. I no longer think I was weird. I was just a bit early.
Today many people question the business-as-usual status quo.
The leaders, professionals and founders I help today are curious and creative. They are explorers and pioneers. They know that we live at a time requiring urgent transformation.
And they feel called to play their part in some way.
We can’t just adopt new plans, strategies, missions and technology. Wonderful though those things are, they are not enough.
To make our world different, we have to become different – to show up aligned in body, speech and mind. To trust our visions for what is possible (for us and for the world) and find the courage to begin.
We have to work hard, very hard; yet with joy, natural energy, spaciousness and flow.
All of that is possible. And I can help you do it.
Today I serve other weirdos! The professionals, leaders and founders who feel called to create something different, something that serves us all and our planet.
It turns out it’s not weird. It could be precisely what you are in this world to do.
